Return and Refund Policy

Refunds

If the veterinary checkup results do not align with the provided health records, or if the parrot appears unhealthy or has genetic defects, the buyer is eligible for a full refund. The refund will be processed within 3-5 business days. However, a replacement parrot will only be provided if the buyer obtains a written and signed statement from two licensed veterinarians at different clinics, confirming the genetic defects.

Within the first 90 days of purchase, if the buyer feels unable to provide the necessary care for the parrot, they are eligible for a full refund and can return the bird to the breeder. Before issuing the refund, the breeder will conduct a health check to ensure the parrot has not been adversely affected by changes in its living situation. If the parrot is found to be unwell, the buyer will not be eligible for a refund.

After the 90th day of purchase, the buyer will not be eligible for a refund if they wish to return the parrot due to their inability to provide proper care.

Returns

Within the first 90 days of purchase, if the buyer wishes to return the parrot due to their inability to provide care, they will be responsible for the re-shipping fee.

After the 90th day of purchase, if the buyer wishes to return the parrot due to their inability to provide care, they will also be responsible for the re-shipping fee.

If a veterinary checkup conducted by the buyer within the first 7 days of purchase reveals that the parrot is unwell or has genetic defects, the breeder will cover the re-shipping fee.

While I’ve never had an African Grey returned due to genetic defects or health issues, I maintain a comprehensive return and refund policy to ensure that everyone feels secure. I have only had one parrot returned when the owner had to relocate abroad for work and could not find a suitable caretaker.
