African Grey Parrot Sale Agreement

Sale of Parrot:

The Breeder agrees to sell, and the Buyer agrees to purchase one (1) African Grey parrot for the price of $700.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you are purchasing two (2) parrots, the total cost will be $1,400, excluding shipping fees. Additional costs may apply depending on the shipping method and location.

Health Guarantee:

The Breeder guarantees that the parrot is in good health at the time of sale and is up-to-date on all vaccinations and deworming. The Breeder provides the following health guarantee:

a. Vet Examination: The Buyer must take the parrot to a licensed veterinarian for a checkup within seven (7) days of receiving the parrot. If the veterinarian finds the parrot to be ill or has a serious congenital defect, the Breeder will refund the full purchase price, including any shipping costs, upon return of the parrot.

b. Genetic Conditions: The Breeder guarantees the parrot against genetic defects for its lifetime. If the parrot is diagnosed with a genetic condition by two (2) licensed veterinarians, the Breeder will replace the parrot with another of equal value or refund the full purchase price, including any shipping costs, upon return of the parrot.

c. Communicable Diseases: If the parrot is diagnosed with a communicable disease within the first fourteen (14) days of the Buyer receiving the parrot, the Breeder will refund the full purchase price, including any shipping costs, upon return of the parrot.

Shipping and Pickup:

Please note that the full purchase price of the parrot must be paid before delivery, whether by shipping or pickup at client’s local airport.

For shipping: Full payment must be completed prior to shipment.

For pickup: A $300 refundable deposit is required at the time of this agreement, with the remaining balance due upon pickup.

Payment: The full purchase price of the parrot must be paid before the parrot is delivered to the Buyer, either by shipping or pickup. For pickup, a $300 refundable deposit is required at the time of this agreement, with the remaining balance due upon pickup of the parrot.

Buyer's Responsibilities: The Buyer agrees to provide the parrot with proper care, including adequate food, water, shelter, social interaction, and veterinary care. The Buyer also agrees to comply with all state and local laws regarding the ownership of a bird.

Entire Agreement: This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties.
